Interested in helping out your local League of Ireland team? We have a number of roles that we are looking for people to fill to improve our match day experience and the quality of social media content! See below the opportunities that we have available.
Media Team Members
The Athlone Town AFC media team are actively recruiting media team associates to work with our Senior Men’s, Women’s, and academy squads.
Volunteering with the club’s media team is a fun and fulfilling experience.
Some of the responsibilities of this role are as follows:
- Day-to-day Social Media updates
- Produce team sheets for media personnel on match days
- Provide live match updates on Social Media
- Conduct interviews with managers and/or players
- Manning cameras for our LOITV stream
- Provide match previews and reports

Matchday Photographers
We are looking to add to our matchday output particularly with photographs on our social media channels. If you think this area is something that you could help out in, please contact admin@athlonetownafc.ie
Matchday Stewards
For all home games at Athlone Town Stadium, match security and stewards are required in order to ensure a pleasant matchday experience for our spectators. If you are willing to give up a couple of hours on a Friday night to help out we would love to hear from you. If interested, email admin@athonetownafc.ie for more information.
