League of Ireland Director Mark Scanlon said: "We're delighted to be able to launch the LOITV service in what is an exciting development for clubs in both the SSE Airtricity First Division and Women’s National League.

“With 243 matches set to be on the platform this season it will provide hours of exciting action across both competitions in what promises to be another exciting season.

“As the COVID-19 restrictions continue, the revenue it will generate for the clubs is a key source of income and means supporters can continue to support their League of Ireland club in these difficult times whilst also providing supporters with an opportunity to follow their team from the comfort of their own home.”

The LOITV service will be broadcast via AI technology-based fixed cameras which have been installed in each stadium coupled with commentary and production features being delivered by each club.
